How it began
Constant began our partnership journey with the Sydney Opera House in an event capacity in 2007, supporting various cultural and high-profile events as a niche supplier of quality services to the entertainment and arts sector. In 2010, we were successful in being engaged to deliver a large-scale forecourt event, Oprah’s Tour Down Under which supported two shows of 6,500 people in a single day. Due to the success of this event and a trusted history as a supplier of quality services, Constant was invited to bid for the Event, Concierge and Venue services tender. The rest is history.
Our incredible team have been able to successfully deliver services that enhance the Sydney Opera House visitor experience, by being respectful, polite and approachable, while being a natural hub of information to all visitors to the Sydney Opera House. We put this down to the level of service, attention to detail, and high regard in which we hold our partnership with the Sydney Opera House, a relationship built over many years of positive interaction driven by our desire to collaborate and build teams that support our client’s needs.

Ability to meet the demand
Our relationship with the Sydney Opera House includes not only the provision of an internal security team, but the Event and Venue Front of House, Production, Safety and other support teams built over many years of positive interaction.
Our support includes daily venue security services, backfill OSO and Sails protection. Various forecourt events (summer forecourt series) as well as New Year’s Eve form our single largest deployment each year. Other services include non-security event staff such as ushers and ticket collectors to support events as well as buggy drivers for shuttle services. The services expanded to X- ray screening with the implementation of screening points in 2018 and we have providing suitably trained staff to support this activity since the development of this initiative.
Services they Use
Crowd Management
We provide crowd management for crowds ranging from 500 to 6,000 in a venue/event capacity, however we also assist with general sight-seeing visitors as well.
Front of House
We supply ushers and ticket collectors where required, generally for forecourt events.
Venue Security
Providing customer centric security services to all internal venues.
Forecourt Event Security
We provide 150 + event security officers for NYE and 60+ security officers for Forecourt events.
