Constant was introduced to the Fairfax Media Event team through a small monthly event held in Pyrmont called the Growers Markets. This monthly, local affair was a new initiative to bring fresh produce to city dwellers in a farmer’s market style environment. Constant delivered services to the growers market each month for over a decade.

During that time, our reach expanded to include the City to Surf, the country’s largest fun run. We were the first provider to complete a comprehensive security risk assessment and security operational plan for the vent. Something that had not been in place prior to our engagement, this

began our partnership journey in overachieving above our client’s original objectives. Our focus on safety and security extends beyond our own responsibility and we have often been called on to represent Fairfax to the likes of the NSW Premiers Department, NSW Police, NSW Ambulance and other government bodies involved in the coordination of Hallmark events.

The Fairfax portfolio grew into two distinct areas, Sport and Food & Lifestyle, bringing various other events under our umbrella -including the Sydney Night Noodle Markets, Sydney Half Marathon, Sydney Spring Cycle, Sun Run and Cole Classic to name a few, which Constant provided security services to in every state and territory in Australia.
